An internship with FCV is an opportunity to challenge yourself as you learn what it means to work with the earth. We offer the opportunity to learn about propagation management, transplanting, cultivation, irrigation, fencing, harvesting, washing, packaging, marketing, and selling.
The ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, a love of physical labor, and a healthy sense of urgency.
Previous farm experience is preferred, but a lack of experience can be augmented by efficiency and eagerness to contribute. You will be working alongside the first-generation farmers and owners Ian Ater and Lucas Christenson. We hope that you share our dedication to advancing the success of local-agricultural in the ripe and ready Adirondacks. Expect to be exhausted, invigorated, and inspired.
We provide a weekly stipend, some of the best food around, and self-imported Ecuadorian coffee. If you are interested in applying for an internship, please refer to the current openings below.
